Hull City ace points to experience
Midfielder Kevin Kilbane believes Hull City have the experience in their ranks to avoid panicking on what promises to be a nail-biting finale day of the season.
The Tigers host Manchester United on Sunday knowing a win will guarantee their Premier League status at the expense of Middlesbrough and Newcastle United.
Kilbane was part of the Wigan Athletic side which survived on a dramatic final day of the 2006-07 season and the Republic of Ireland international has backed the KC Stadium to hold their nerve against the champions.
"It's not a nice position to be in fighting for your lives but we've got enough experience with players who can look back at their careers and draw on certain things" he told the Hull Daily Mail.
"It's intense, of course it is, but you have to try and switch off as much as you possibly can.
"Concentrate when you're at training, build for a match-day and be positive.
"You can't keep looking at the league table, if you do you'll crack up and go mental.
"You've got to try and stay focused on yourself and be at your best."
