Liverpool join Hammers in £5m race
Liverpool has joined the £5m race to sign the Croatian winger Danijel Pranjic according to the player's agent.
The Heerenveen star who can operate anywhere on the left hand side has been in sensational form with 20 goals in 30 games this season for the Dutch side, which is a remarkable return considering he has played for the large part as wing back.
His form has alerted a plethora of clubs including West Ham, Newcastle, as well as Sevilla and Betis, therefore the talented Croat is certainly not set to be short of offers at the end of the season.
Pranjic's agent Soren Lerby confirmed:
"I can confirm that several English and Spanish clubs are looking at Pranjic," Lerby told Sportske Novosti.
"Liverpool has already demonstrated an interest and Betis and Sevilla monitor him."
Rafa is reportedly keen on Pranjic, after the failure of Andrea Dossena to adapt to the Premier League and sees the Croat as the ideal player to provide that attacking influence from full back that his system at Liverpool so desperately craves.
