Blackburn Rovers snap up Jacobsen
Blackburn Rovers have persuaded Denmark international Lars Jacobsen to sign a two-year contract at Ewood Park.
The 29-year-old defender is boss Sam Allardyce's third capture of the summer following the arrivals of Elrio van Heerden and Gael Givet.
Jacobsen, who joins Rovers on a free transfer, started his career at his hometown club, Odense.
He also starred for Hamburg, FC Copenhagen and Nuremberg before joining Everton last summer.
However, he sustained a dislocated shoulder while on international duty ten months ago which restricted him to only six appearances for the Toffees, the last being as a substitute in the FA Cup Final defeat to Chelsea.
