Alexandre Pato will hold talks with new Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti before deciding whether to follow him from AC Milan to Stamford Bridge.

The 19-year-old Brazilian has been a revelation in Serie A since joining Milan two years ago and has been linked with a move to the Blues following confirmation of Ancelotti's appointment last week.

Pato, who scored 17 goals in 41 appearances for the Rossoneri last season, has added fuel to the speculation linking him with a move to the Premier League after revealing he is planning to talk to Ancelotti before deciding on his future.

"It's an honour being esteemed by a club like Chelsea," said the teenager.

"Anyway, I repeat, I will meet Ancelotti before, then Milan officials. My future will be clear at the end of June.

"He's a sensational man. I owe him. It's because of him I've been able to emerge at Milan and in Italian football.

"Before deciding my future I want to talk to him."
