Everton set to land Senderos
Reports suggest Switzerland international Philippe Senderos has agreed to move from Arsenal to Everton, fuelling speculation that Joleon Lescott could finally be heading to Manchester City.
The Swiss Football Federation claim that Senderos, who spent last season on loan at AC Milan, will seal a permanent switch to Goodison Park this week.
Neither club have yet commented on the report.
Lescott has been linked with a move to Eastlands for several weeks although Everton manager David Moyes has said on several occasions that the former Wolves defender is not for sale.
City boss Mark Hughes has already had offers of £15million and £18million rejected by Everton, who are believed to value the England international at £30million.
Lescott has not submitted an official request for transfer, but is believed to be desperate to move to Eastlands.
He missed Sunday's pre-season game against Coventry City with a hip problem and will not feature in Tuesday's clash with Blackpool.
Moyes confirmed: "Joleon picked up a hip injury while we were in America. We don't expect him to be fit for Tuesday but hopefully he can make it on Friday against Malaga."
