Hull City manager Phil Brown will unveil Seyi Olofinjana and Jozy Altidore at a KC Stadium press conference on Thursday.

Midfielder Olofinjana will move to the Tigers from Stoke City for a fee believed to be in the region of £3million.

He joined the Potters last summer from Wolverhampton Wanderers but dropped out of Tony Pulis' first-team plans in the second half of the season.

He also has 45 international caps for Nigeria to his name.

The Altidore deal is expected to be a season-long loan from Spanish side Villarreal.

The 19-year-old American let the world know the move was on the cards when he updated his Twitter status by saying: "First match is against Chelsea subject to a work permit – wink wink – lol thanks for the support and love keep it coming."

The pair will be hoping to figure in this season's daunting opener at Stamford Bridge on August 15.
