Switzerland international Valon Behrami insists he has no plans to leave West Ham United despite persistent rumours linking him with Juventus.

The former Lazio star moved to Upton Park for £5million in July 2008 but has only just returned to first-team action after spending six months on the sidelines with a serious knee injury.

The 24-year-old told the London Evening Standard:"I don't want to leave West Ham.

"I enjoy my work here. This club have given me a lot, before, during and after my injury and I want to stay here and play for this club.

"At the moment I am about 80 per cent fit.

"Last week's 2-2 draw with Arsenal was very strange because we went from the lowest point of the season when we were two goals down to the end, when we were at our highest point so far.

"At half-time the psychology of the situation was very difficult. There were probably some players who didn't believe they could get a result but now we need to carry on."
