villa is great player ..i dont think he would do in the england..he needs time and space..he never played out of spain..as for torres took like fish to water over in england..if not better than he had done in spain…but they both different types of players …my would be torres

I suspect Mark to be slightly biased in this case as he does not like Liverpool, but Villa is certainly the best striker in FM games so he is not the only one who thinks this.

I think it’s evident to all that Torres is a better all-around striker with more to his game.

In terms of a natural goalscorer playing within their ability I still maintain that Villa’s better overall. If you watch him regularly you’ll see his intelligence on the pitch and instincts are remarkable.

It’s a very tight one between the two, I think that most Spanish would go for Villa and most English for Torres as it’s who you see more of

Villa playing in Spain avg 0.68 Goals per game

Torres playing in the hardest league in Europe avg 0.71 goals per game.

As for playing for Spain, Torres becomes more of a provider to Villa.

Again not saying Villa a crap player, but not as goos as Torres especially for the verity of goals he scores

While Villa is a great player, you cannot begin to compare him to FT who is on another planet. Listen to the worlds best defenders, they’re saying it too. Fernando Torres is the ‘complete striker’
