I disagree with you about the strength in depth they have though - the players you mentioned have become first choice defenders because the other options weren't good enough, particularly with Martin Laursen having retired. Add to that the fact that they lost Barry and have few striking options should a forward get injured or need a rest and they have the same predicament they faced at the end of last year.
