The agent of Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini remains confident that his client will make a full recovery from the injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
The 36-year-old Italian suffered fractures to both of his wrists as well as damage to his pelvis and faces a lengthy recovery period, having collided with a car in Walthamstow on Thursday morning.
However, agent Federico Pastorello has been quick to play down suggestions that Cudicini's career could be ended by his injuries.
He told Sky Sport Italia:"The worst is now over and we will analyse the time for his recovery after the operation.
"There was never any risk of permanent damage whatsoever."
Cudicini moved to White Hart Lane from Chelsea in January this year and has so far made 12 appearances for the north London club.
