Vladimir_KomanVladimir Koman has expressed his delight at being linked with a move to Liverpool.

The young Hungarian, who is currently on loan at Bari from Sampdoria, is reportedly being targeted by Liverpool, after impressing in the recent U20 World Cup.

Koman is certainly keen on a possible switch to Merseyside in the future, however conceded that a move to Anfield may be somewhat early in his development at present and he would benefit from playing regular football for what he deems a ‘smaller club’ for the time being.

Koman said:“This is an honour for me if the news about Liverpool is true,

“This is a famous and giant club but at the moment I want to concentrate on getting regular first-team football,

“I wouldn’t go there to sit on the bench. Getting into the starting XI of Liverpool may be a bit early for me but so far I haven’t only thought about this possibility,

“I want to play football and a smaller club may be a more suitable choice for me.” (Nemzeti Sport)
