Spain hot-shot David Villa is refusing to rule out the possibility of moving to the Premier League should he finally decide to leave Valencia.

The £40million-rated striker has been linked with moves to Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City in recent transfer windows as rumours of financial problems at the Spanish club persist.

Barcelona and Real Madrid remain more likely destinations should Villa move on, but the striker himself claims a move to England remains a possibility.

"I have not closed the door on any club because I only have a short career and I want to enjoy my football," he said.

"I have had a lot of offers, but I would have to pick the best option, and that could be in the Premier League, which I have never ruled out."

Villa has scored 96 goals in 141 club appearances for Los Che and has a similarly impressive record at international level after netting 35 goals in just 54 games for Spain.
