Danny Mac these players listed are ones that are unlikely to go to South Africa. Capello still has the squad midfielders to replace either Lampard or Gerrard and it’s Gareth Barry if anyone who would replace either.

sorry… He’s making the same mistake as everyone else by picking both Lampard and Gerrard together instead of the top performers you mentioned. You only mentioned Lee Cattermole – which one of the 2 are you dropping for him then?

Looking at that list and then thinking of others I would say that England have two very good international teams and also lots of up and comming english managers ( 13 British managers in prem ) so can the racists stop spreading rubbish about how the prem is being overtaken by foriegners and the national team is suffering . I certainly agree Mark, about your opinion on Leighton Baines. I think he would be an improvement on Bridge as an understudy to Cole.
