The players that don’t play are those bought in the Jol and Ramos under the horrid stay of Daniel Comolli. Inter are playing hardball with Spurs because they realise they can get double for Sandro from another team. It is highly improbable that this deal with Inter – the joint deal that was announced months back – wasn’t completed as they are now saying.

I hope Defoe is no longer our penalty taker after missing his last 4 in a row. If keane or Pav are not playing, then modric or crouch should be giving the spot kick next time.

Harry Redknapp is a chancer and is way out of his depth at spurs, another manager could pick the right team to play week in week out and give them the self belief and correct mental attitude we so badly lack. Also, i’m no genius, but, if Bale is not great at defending, but, great going forward, would it take a genius to play him as our left winger. Believe me arry will leave us as yet another manager to achieve nothing. I wish i was wrong, but i’ve seen this film before, many times.

Not giving Dos Santos a chance at Spurs is very very disappointing. Krancjar has been ok but he was poor against Liverpool and Leeds. Ideal time to give Gio a go and he didnt do it
