Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Mick McCarthy refused to be too downbeat despite seeing his side beaten 2-0 by Wigan Athletic at Molineux.
The result left Wolves outside the drop zone on goal difference only, but McCarthy was not too worried about the threat of relegation, despite a run of three straight defeats.
He commented:"It's not all sackcloth and ashes.
"We lost to Birmingham, who deserved to beat us, and then went on a decent run afterwards. We went and beat Spurs and went and did some damage elsewhere.
"That's what we've got to do again and I've said that to the players.
"People will look at it and think we've lost to Wigan so where are we going to get points from, but we'll do it – we'll be fine."
Meanwhile, Wolves have been linked with an ambitious bid to sign Middlesbrough winger Adam Johnson for a fee in the region of £6million.
