Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce thought his side had done enough at West Ham United to claim only their second victory away from Ewood Park this season.
In a drab Upton Park affair, Rovers created what few chances there were but were made to rue some profligate finishing as the match ended 0-0.
"There's no doubt that we've dropped two points," said Allardyce after the stalemate."You just have to look at the chances we created in the second half to see that it was begging for us to take three points.
"We completely controlled the play, dominated the game, created chance after chance after chance but couldn't find the ultimate finish.
"Robert Green got in the way of Martin Olsson's shot and then there was Jason Roberts' chance.
"It also looked as though we'd got a goal only for the ball to hit Mark Noble's thigh. It was going in the net and then he pops his arm up and plays it out with his arm.
"We're all jumping up and down thinking it was going to be a penalty but unfortunately it wasn't seen by the referee or his assistants, so it's a great shame.
"Yes we have ourselves to blame for the chances we've missed, but there's a decision that's gone against us which should have gone for us and allowed us the chance to score from a penalty kick to win the game."
