Hull end dispute with Duffen

Hull City have settled their dispute with Paul Duffen which has brought an end to the legal action against their former chairman.

Last month the Tigers began legal proceedings against Duffen after accusing him of using club money for personal dealings.

Duffen left his position in October 2009 when former chairman Adam Pearson returned to the KC Stadium.

"Further to the statement made on 22nd January 2010 regarding legal action commenced by Hull City against its former chief executive officer, we are pleased to confirm that we have agreed settlement on terms satisfactory to the club," read a statement on the club's official website.

"This agreement brings to an end all dispute between the parties."

Duffen had threatened legal action of his own in a bid to clear his name.
