Manager Roberto Martinez has called on Wigan Athletic fans to keep believing in his struggling side at what he claims is a vital stage of the season.
The Latics lost 3-0 at home to Tottenham on Sunday to edge closer to the relegation mire.
The DW Stadium outfit are currently 15th in the Premier League table and just two points clear of the drop zone after a run of six games without a victory.
"In the second half against Spurs we began by showing a clear reaction to the situation and looked as though we wanted to get back in it," he told the club's official website.
"The crowd played a massive part in that, they got behind us and made a lot of noise.
"Results aren't going our way lately, although we deserve more, and we need everyone pulling in the same direction to make sure the season ends well.
"The key is to be united and to provide the support that allows our players to perform at their best.
"The fans are the biggest section of this club and it's a moment where we all need each other.
"Once we get through it we'll be able to go on to the next level."
