Swedish defender Martin Olsson says that he would happily pledge his long-term future to Blackburn Rovers, even if offers from other clubs are forthcoming.

The 21-year-old joined Rovers four years ago from Hogaborgs and has started to become a first-team regular this season, sparking talk of interest in him from elsewhere.

However, with more than two years of his current deal still to run, Olsson has his sights firmly set on a future at Ewood Park.

He told the Lancashire Telegraph:"As long as I play well and enjoy my football that's probably the most important thing right now.

"I came here when I was 17 and when you come that young you start knowing everything about Blackburn and the people. I've been here for four years and it feels like my second home to be honest.

"If I were to get a new contract I'd be happy to stay, even if there were clubs after me. I'd be happy to stay at Blackburn and play here every week.

"But I'm not thinking about a deal to be honest. I'm just excited to play and be able to show how the fans how I play. The deal will come later."
