Tony Pulis refused to relax after seeing Stoke City secure a valuable point from a 1-1 draw at Wigan Athletic.

Tuncay's header 16 minutes from time earned the Potters a share of the spoils at the DW Stadium, although Pulis was cool about his side being nine points clear of the drop zone.

He told the club's official website:"I am delighted to be in the position we are in, but I won't feel happy until we reach the 40-point target.

"I go to sleep at night thinking about it and I wake up in the morning thinking about it.

"It is important that we stay in the Premier League for another year and at the moment we are on target to achieve that aim, but we are not getting carried away.

"We took the game to them and looked like the team who would win (at the end).

"Unfortunately, we didn't get a bit of luck in front of goal. If we had done, then we would have won the game, but I am pleased with the point."
