Liverpool's Dutch winger Ryan Babel is pleased to have regained a first-team spot with the Reds, having seemed likely to leave the club in the January transfer window.
The 23-year-old was unhappy with a lack of opportunities at Anfield earlier on in the campaign, but has now started to impress, finding the net in the 4-1 win over Portsmouth on Monday evening.
He told the club's official website:"I was always happy at Liverpool.
"Slowly I'm feeling stronger and hopefully now I can continue to get stronger. With every game you'll start to see the best of me.
"Obviously you're always frustrated when you can't show people what you can do, but that's not just me, that's every player.
"But that's the past and now I want to go forward here at Liverpool."
