Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas is set to return from injury against West Ham United on Saturday.

The Spain midfielder has been sidelined since a 3-1 victory over Burnley at the beginning of the month after aggravating a hamstring injury.

Fellow midfielder Tomas Rosicky is also expected to pass a fitness test on Friday ahead of the game at the Emirates Stadium which could return the Gunners to the top of the table.

"Cesc and Tomas have a final test tomorrow morning," Arsene Wenger told Arsenal TV Online.

"They should be available for Saturday.

"From the last game we don't lose anybody. So normally we should have Fabregas, Carlos Vela and Rosicky back.

"Plus of course we have (Alex) Song coming back from suspension."

However, Wenger has confirmed that defender William Gallas will not make his comeback this weekend from a six-game absence caused by a calf problem.

"William Gallas will not be available this week or at Birmingham. It is going on and on. It is a concern," added Wenger.

"It is an endless calf strain and so we need Sol Campbell and Mikael Silvestre to be highly ready to help us out."
