Hull City winger Stephen Hunt is playing on through the pain barrier to try and help the Tigers escape from the threat of relegation from the Premier League.
The 28-year-old Republic of Ireland international has been troubled by a foot problem for some weeks, but is determined to avoid an operation until the end of the season.
City manager Phil Brown confirmed: "Stephen Hunt's damage to his foot is one where it needs rest. It's an ongoing concern, but we'll have to deal with it the best we can."
Meanwhile, Tigers loan striker Jozy Altidore is focusing on trying to aid his side's survival rather than his own future.
He told the Hull Daily Mail:"I don't know where I see myself next year. There is so much going on that you can't look past it.
"I think England is a great league and would be my preferred choice as this is the best league in the world.
"Spain is very close too and has a lot of things which make it a special league. I'd like to get a chance to play in the Villarreal team, but if not we'll see what happens.
"But my personal future can go on hold. I am here to do a job and that is to help keep this team up."
