Sunderland defender Anton Ferdinand is determined to remain at the Stadium of Light and help Steve Bruce's side move clear of the relegation zone.
The 25-year-old former West Ham United player recently returned to the starting line-up after a ten-week absence with an ankle problem.
He played at full-back in Sunday's goalless draw against Fulham, a result that extended the Black Cats' winless run to 14 matches.
However, an upbeat Ferdinand said:"I'm a team player and I'll play anywhere for this club and for my manager. When I go out there I'll give 110 per cent, as you saw (against Fulham).
"I can't talk for the rest of the lads, but you won't see it from me, I look like I'm confident. Because of the pressures of the game and from the fans, it's not in my character to be nervous in those situations.
"It's hard when you're the home team when the expectations are so big and they should be at a club like this. We as players have to deal with it, and if we can't we shouldn't be here."
