Everton midfielder Leon Osman is not concerned despite his side’s winless start to the new Premier League season.

The Toffees followed up their opening day defeat to Blackburn Rovers with a 1-1 draw at home to Wolves on Saturday.

For a long time it looked like Tim Cahill‘s first-half goal would win the match but Sylvan Ebanks-Blake earned a point for the visitors late in the day.

“Everyone is desperate for that first win – the fans, ourselves, everyone,” said Osman.

“We’re all so desperate for that, but we need to relax and let it come. We’re a good team and it will come.

“You’d have to say this will be one of the most competitive seasons ever. Teams like Blackburn and Wolves, most teams in the league, are going to scrap their way towards points.

“We’ve always said there are no easy games in the Prem but this season it’s truer than ever. It’ll be tough. Teams will fight and are capable of getting points.

“It’s very disappointing. We’ve only got one point from six but the season is 38 games long.

“There are 36 left and we need to get up and running as quickly as we can, and once we hit our stride we’ll be a force to be reckoned with.”
