Blackpool have signed former Wigan Athletic and Birmingham City goalkeeper Richard Kingson on a one-year contract.

The 32-year-old, who starred for Ghana at the World Cup finals in South Africa earlier this summer, was a free agent after leaving the Latics and joins the Seasiders due to Paul Rachubka being sidelined by a long-term injury.

Meanwhile, Guinea midfielder Mamadou Bah has stated that he would like the chance to play in England in the future, having joined Stuttgart after a move to Bloomfield Road fell through.

He told Sky Sports:"I heard Blackpool were very interested.

"I am a Stuttgart player now and I want to give my best to my new club and prove myself in one of the top leagues in all the world.

"I love the Premier League and maybe one day I will be there to play, all good players dream about it."
