In an entertaining game at Goodison Park today Everton twice came from behind to earn a point against West Ham and a share of the spoils.

David Moyes’ men fell behind in the first half to a Jonathan Spector effort, before Diniyar Bilyaletdinov brought the Toffees level. When Frederic Piquionne made it 2-1 with less than ten minutes left it looked as though Everton would get nothing from the match, but an injury-time strike from Marouane Fellaini ensured that they earned a point and extended their gap to the Premier League relegation zone to five points.

So what were the FIVE things we learnt about Everton today?

1 – Coleman is getting better and better
2 – we never give up
3 – why can’t we play like we do for the last 10 mins for the whole 90?
    4 – we need a striker
5 – relived to get a point, but ultimately we should beat teams like west ham at home.
