Top TEN Overrated Players in the Premier League
After my top ten free-kick scorers went down a storm (for the wrong reasons) here is another top ten to stir a debate; the top TEN overrated players in the Premier League. There’s no right or wrong answer here, you’re either going to be nodding your head in agreement or shaking your head violently as you type who you really think should be here. That’s the divide with overrated players; one person’s Donkey Striker can be another person’s Hidden Gem.
Firstly, let’s point out that the list of top 10 is not a list of players that are no good. They are in fact all good footballers, but whether it’s always being called-up for England or being a manager’s favourite at a club or even escaping criticism from pundits, these players all have reasons for being in the list in my opinion.

no way first off get joe cole out of that list and then remove peter crouch and replace them with nani and kalou joe cole just aint got match fitness at the moment hes one of the most talented players england has ever produced and any clib in the prem would have him. hopefully he’ll be back at upton park next year.

I didn’t even choose Peter Crouch, my original 10 players have been edited.
Personally I think Crouch gets too much criticism to ever been in an overrated list. I also didn’t choose Kenwyne Jones either.
Joe Cole was my choice however, I do not think he’s ever reached his full potential.
I actually think Kalou is becoming rather underrated lately.

Rooney, destroys almost all strikers who he plays with. The guy has no idea how to be a striker and drifts out of position to get involved more which a striker should not do. Will admit the guy has qualities but some people see this guy as a world beater and he is not Ronaldo Messi and alot of others so much better than this lad who would not be rated so highly if he wasnt english, would love to see him at barca so people could see that he is not great, what happened to great strikers like Shearer etc only english striker I can see as a good one for next few years is big AC
