‘Goal of the Week’ – Steve Sidwell

This week’s goal of the week comes from the Fulham v Liverpool game which ended 5-2 Kenny Dalglish’s side. The goal I am choosing comes from Steve Sidwell’s late consolation at Craven Cottage.

Talking about the goal itself, despite Fulham being on a bit of a hammering Sidwell score a goal that would have graced any game. With the score at 5-1 the ball found Sidwell around twenty-five yards out and with no backlift hit a fantastic half volley which flew past Pepe Reina in the Liverpool goal.
