The Alternative Premier League Awards 2011

The inevitable domination of Europe by Barcelona was confirmed last weekend, bringing a close to the European season for another year. Almost as predictable, Manchester United took the crown in England’s top flight, Gareth Bale was appointed player of the season and Roman Abramovich sacked a manager for failing to win the Champions League.

Here though, is an alternative awards for the players and managers who most deserve them…
