Alex McLeish, is interested in signing one of three Tottenham right backs, according to the Daily Mail.
The Aston Villa manager is desperate to sign a new first choice right back and has earmarked Spurs trio Kyle Naughton, Alan Hutton and Kyle Walker as targets.
Walker was on loan at Villa Park in the second half of last season although his performances have now catapulted him into first team reckoning at White Hart Lane.
Hutton was McLeish’s prime target but Harry Redknapp’s valuation of the full back has caused the Villa boss to turn his attentions to Naughton.
Naughton has struggled to nail down a place in the two years since moving from Sheffield United with Walker.
Loan spells at Championship clubs Middlesbrough and Leicester City in the last two seasons have displayed his talents at that level. He was named in the 2010/11 PFA Championship Team of the Year and won the Foxes young player of the year award.
Sven Goran Eriksson is keen to bring him back to the King Power Stadium but interest from Villa might sway Naughton.
The offer of first team football in an established Premier League side will appeal to the young right back as he looks to get his once bright career back on track.

Keep Corluka, loan out Naughton to a lower Prem club, drive Hutton to Villa Park. Take £5m for Hutton, maybe we’ll get £6m if we can get Big Eck drunk.

spot on Tony….if Naughton enjoys a good loan spell in the Prem he could come back and fight it out the next season….need to start loaning our prospects to other Prem clubs to see if they can handle it….think we may see a proper gem in Caulker this year

We may have a gem in Caulker, but he’s Swansea’s next year mate!
