Caption Competition: And the award for the biggest ego at Arsenal goes to…
We all know that Premier League footballers have big egos, but who has the biggest ego at Arsenal? My nomination would go to Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny. He may only be 21, but Szczesny clearly thinks a lot of himself, and why wouldn’t you when you’re playing in between the sticks for one of the biggest clubs in the country?
Szczesny also seems to like a joke and a laugh and he’d definitely have needed to see the funny side when Manchester United stuffed Arsenal 8-2 at Old Trafford last month, although he probably wouldn’t have known whether to laugh or cry.
