As the transfer window looks set to open in a little over a month, Premier League managers will be searching high and low for bargains – I thought it would be apt to look back at the TOP TEN Premier League transfer steals of all-time.

Those players that didn’t quite make the list but deserve honourable mentions are Brad Friedel, Mark Schwarzer, Nicolas Anelka, Mikel Arteta, Patrick Vieira, Freddie Ljungberg, Kolo Toure, Patrice Evra and Nemanja Vidic. .
