Tottenham star, Gareth BaleTottenham stalwart Ledley King has praised in-form attacker Gareth Bale ahead of the north London club’s trip to face Liverpool at Anfield on Monday night.

The Welsh winger has been in exceptional form and bagged a double against Wigan in midweek, resulting in a 3-1 win for the White Hart Lane outfit.

King feels that there are a few better players than his team-mate at the moment, who is helped by improved fitness and physique.

“Gareth’s one of the best players around at the moment. He’s unstoppable in full flow,” King told Mirror Football.

“His fitness levels are so high that he takes the pressure off, especially late in the game. He just keeps going when a lot of players are tired.”

Bale is set to play his 100th Premier League game against Kenny Dalglish’s men.

Meanwhile, Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is set to travel to Anfield by private jet, as the manager’s ongoing court case threatens to see him miss the game.

Redknapp is currently facing tax evasion charges at Southwark Crown Court, and with proceedings usually finishing at 4.30pm the Tottenham trainer will not make kick-off if he was to make the 220-mile journey by car.
