Changing the face of Chelsea

We all know what Roman Abramovich wants from Cheslea. He dreams of a chelsea team which is as good in flair as other teams like Arsenal, Man Utd, Barca. But since his takeover of chelsea the club has failed to match these teams. Previously no one questioned about their style because their football was very productive and bringing them glory from every where. Abramovich wanted the UCL trophy at Stanford Bridge at least twice in ten years. This could be the year when he wins the first of the two.
Talking about Abramovich's desire to bring sexy football to Bridge. A lot of players at chelsea do not even deserve to be their. Kalou, Bridge, Pizzaro, Shevchenko, Farreira. These all players don't deserve to be a part of such a huge club.
Finally Cheslea have got a manager who promises to bring flair to a too professional, too boring chelsea. Avram Grant has asked The Owner to allow him cash to bring the likes of Kaka , Messi, Sergio Ramos to Cheslea next season. But the worst thing is he himself is not sure whether he will be the manager of this club or next season.
Let's look at what can be done to acheive Abramovich's dream.
First of all we need to play the more attackin style of play. On paper we play a 4-3-3 formation but we always have played 4-5-1. First thing we need to do is adopt a 4-4-2 or an on field 4-3-3 formation.
Let's look at what & who we really need.
On the Left side we have been playing Kalou or Malouda. Both are misfiring. So we need a player who can do what Robinho does on the left hand side at Real Madrid. We can Actually land Robinho because he is out of favour at Madrid this could be the perfect time to land him at the Bridge at a considerable price. He can solve the problem of left side as well as bring the magic he is known for.
We know Chelsea have signed another full back from Porto. But in the central defence area we still need some young blood because Terry and carvalho , both have looked off the pace and Alex and Ben Haim cannot solve this problem. Sergio Ramos has been a star for Madrid but like Robinho is out of favour. If Chelsea are ready to spend the bucks then they could sign the next Maldini.
On the right wing we've got Joe Cole who is capable of producing magic on the pitch so there it is no problem. But Looking at the availabiity of Quaresma Chelsea should try their level best to bring him to Stanford Bridge. Because he can change the face of chelsea and bring as many more fans as ronaldo does fo United.
In the central midfield area chlesea are some what very strong but very old. Makelele, Ballack, Lampard, all in their thirtys. Also Lampard's future is in question. So we need one young Midfielder who can do the Job of Lampard and can give you goals and player that comes to my mind is Diego or Nasri. both are really talented but playing for a club of low level. At least one of thes to must be signed to bring some young blood and creativity. But one player which chelsea should sign and must sign is Arteta. Arteta is as good as Fabregas and Gerrard but underrated. He is the one who Deserves to play for bigger club than Everton.
So we need to sign Robinho/Messi, Quaresma/Messi, Sergio Ramos, Arteta{must sign} or else Diego Ribas/Nasri and one good Striker like Dean Ashton.
With the above signings chelsea and a really good manager like Frank Riijkaard or Marco Van Basten, Chelsea can be the best club on the Planet.
Some players chelsea should offload are Sidwell, Farreira, Wayne Bridge, Ben Haim, Shevchenko, Malouda , Kalou, Pizzaro.

Ok, some off teh things you have said make sense, teh likes of Ben-Haim, Shevchenko, Malouda, Sidwell should be on there way, Ferreira and Kalou should not leave, i mean Ferriera is teh best Right back chelsea have, they should play him more then he would have more pace to him. whilst on teh subject of RB now that Boswinga is with Chelsea, tehy ahve to let go of Belletti. Carvalho is a good player that Chelsea should try and keep, he is nearing teh end of his career so chelsea should bring in a player like Sergio Ramos for the Future, thsi would allow tehm to sell teh shocker Alex.
The defence should end up looking like this : GK Petr Cech RB Boswinga LB Ashely Cole CB John Terry CB Sergio Ramos with subs of Carvalho and Ferriera
Moving on to the midfield Michael Ballack has really proved himself in teh final run of this season so he is a must stay. Frank lampard is on his way and i think we all have to admit it, Chelsea haven't really got any players that can fill his boots Arteta isn't a bad choice and wouldn't be that expensive either, his approach on the game is also a attacking one to, which would help Grant forfil his ambitions,however Chelsea have teh worlds 5th best player Michael Essien,w ho would probably paly nearly eveygame but not in one fixed psoition he would fill in for teh missing players in defence or midfield. On the wings Chelsea have Malouda, Joe Cole, SWP, Kalou, i think Malouda should be on his way he would be better fitted at a club like Tottenham, Kalou should be used as a sub for teh strikers, he is not a winger. Shaun Wright Phillips is debating his future, i think Chelse have to hold onto him he is a star for three years time and should be used in games against teh lower teams in the premier league. Joe Cole has great Flair to him, exactly what teh club wants so its a matte rof playing him more. On teh Left i think Chelsea would have teh biggest benefit of bringing in Quaresma (must Sign) he would bring more fans to the club, more star ability, more attacking approach and would lead to a lot more Goals for the club, Makelele is close to retirement he is good player to have for smaller important games, strong and firm and ith Lampard elaving could be handed Vice Captain. anotehr signing Chelsea should look into is David Bentley, Blackburn winger also a player for teh future and would create more options in the air.
The Midfield should end up looking like this:

Teh upfront at Chelsea is probably the weakist area in teh cHelsea team, not many options and what i mena by that is tehre is no partnerships, tehy are all individuals which won't lead to flair and pace, liek rivals Arsenal have. Drogba is to selfish and i don't see it as a bad thing taht he is leaving, however i would prefer him to stay tahn Shevchenko who will go back to Italy and Pizarro? Pizarro being probably wworse than Shevchenko for Chelsea he was an utter waste rof Money and should go back to teh German League, he really doesn't fit teh team. otehr strikers Niklas Anelka has flair and pace and when he scores he does it for fun, he is a real threat to teh opposition, Grant needs to play him more with apartner because Anelka isn't selfish he will feed the ball for his attacking mate and play off his partners shots, a good partner for Anelka would be David Villa, top priorty for teh attack is to sign Villa he can be taht 20 goal a season player, also a good player to look into in Berbatov, Chelsea could potientally lose three strikers and it is important to replace them with two good strikers Berbatov and Villa.

Overall the team will have more character and oppositions will have to defend to have a chance at teh moment Chelsea purely win on heart and spirit, they allow teams to play teh same game and have chances with an attack liek teh one i have listed the opposition will be to busy defending to attack, and Chelsea already have a good defence probably teh ebst in England, with Ramos they will be untouchable.
