A revert to attacking approach will land Man United a 10th Premier League title!

Football FanCast columnist Michael McKenna looks ahead to this afternoon's game at the JJB and feels that Sir Alex will be the one popping the champagne corks come 5pm.

This coming Sunday sees Man United come within 90 minutes of retaining their Premiership crown. Normally, Wigan away and United wouldn't even blink but this time may be different.

Former United Captain Steve Bruce is in the opposite dug-out this weekend and although he probably would prefer to see United win the league, he won't accept defeat contrary to popular opinion. With the pitch in a poor state, Man Utd could come unstuck against a dogged Wigan team who will be desperate not to lie down and give credence to the paranoia claims.

Steve Bruce actually has a fair record against the top four teams and has taken a point off Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea in the last few months. Obviously Avram Grant hopes that Wigan can make it a happy quartet this afternoon. Manchester United should win this game but goals may be few and far between. There are going to be many twists no doubt, especially if Chelsea scores early adding more pressure on Sir Alex's men.

There is no question that Sir Alex Ferguson will set his United team out in the only way they know to play. The defensive displays put out against Barcelona and especially Chelsea cost them dear and they got what they deserved for adopting that mentality. I firmly believe that the game will have its twists and turns this afternoon and firmly believe both sides will win and get United within one of Liverpool's record.
