Why doesnt Wenger get a war chest of £100m to establish ourselves right back at the top of the game, the credit crunch will slowly restore itself so why are we using that as an excuse.

I reckon the reason Spurs are sitting tight is they want to fully commit to Juande Ramos' transfer policy and don't want the burden at this moment of commiting to a project - look what it has done to Wenger's spending.
