Football FanCast is introducing its new ‘hall of fame', which is a celebration of all the great players that have graced pitches in the British Isles in the last 30yrs.

The best thing about football is that is brings people together. For ten months you are locked together in one big family; all sharing the same dreams and hopes that your football club is going to succeed and whether your Man United or Mansfield, Arsenal or Aldershot; those same emotions are replicated throughout.

You get the highs, the agonising lows and their performances in general tend to mirror your mood. Your club tends to become the major part of your life and unlike a wife or husband can never be changed and no matter how bad your season has gone, you cannot wait for the first game so to jump aboard that rollercoaster once again.

Every person has their own reason for supporting football club, whether it's hereditary, geographical or merely liking the shirt or name. I have a friend who is named, Glenn Ossie Ricky Thompson; apparently his mum took exception to having the name Garth as well so his father had to make do with only three of his heroes.

It is the personalities that make football for me and no matter which team you support you all have your own heroes and players that mean so much to your football club. Whether it was an important goal, sustained success or someone giving 100% every game; we all have affection's for certain players and will always be in our hearts as long as we live.

We at Football FanCast are inducting our own hall of fame as a celebration of all the great players of the last 30yrs; who have graced the British Isles. We have provided you below with a list of future inductees, who will be subsequently selected in the coming weeks.

The fourth inductee to Football FanCast's hall of fame is simply known as "the king of White Hart Lane". Glenn Hoddle is without doubt the most gifted player this country has seen in a very long time. He could do anything with a football and put it on six pence, whether it left foot, right foot, and as you will see the scorer of great goals. Nothing fazed Hoddle and it is such a shame he never got the full recognition on the international stage that his ability deserved. There is no question that the player will rank in the top three of great players that have ever donned the white shirt at Tottenham and will always receive the warmest of receptions in N17.

Please find the time to make your choice of your clubs next inductee and feel free to share with us any great memories, whether it goals or games of the chosen one.

He is simply the best player

He is simply the best player I have seen in a Tottenham shirt, sheer class and have never seen a player who can pass a ball better.

Quality player and such a

Quality player and such a shame it never worked out as a manager, goal against Man United was his greatest.

Toss up between him and

Toss up between him and Gascoigne as the best midfielder I have seen at the club. They dont make them like him anymore.

Oh, almost brought a tear.

Oh, almost brought a tear. What a LEGEND. my all time favourite. Then I watched Ginola's video and am getting a bit torn between the two. Oh, then there is Gazza. Pass me the painkiller. Am getting too excited about this, it's doing me head in. What a bunch of skilful and entertaining players. We were lucky to witness these guys at their peak.
