Burnley striker Danny Ings is the subject of surprise interest from the Bundesliga, according to MailOnline.
The 21-year-old striker is a summer transfer target for the likes of Everton, Newcastle and West Ham after netting 26 goals in 45 Championship games to help Burnley earn promotion back to the Premier League last term.
But Bayer Leverkusen and Wolfsburg are both tracking the striker and are preparing to bring his goal scoring exploits to the Bundesliga this summer.
Burnley manager Sean Dyche, who has just signed a contract extension at Turf Moor, insists he will not be selling Ings this summer as he prepares his Clarets side for a tough season back in the top-flight.
But the Bundesliga duo are still prepared to keep a close eye on the England U-21 ace in the Premier League next term and could approach the club in January if he goes on to impress between August and the winter transfer window.
And with the striker having just one year left on his Burnley contract, he could be available for next to nothing should he opt to leave the club.
