After turning down numerous Championship clubs, Swansea City outcast Leroy Lita has signed for Brighton, Football FanCast understands.
The former England U-21 striker was told by Swans boss Michael Laudrup that he was no longer needed at the Liberty Stadium resulting in a raft of clubs trying to sign the frontman.
It is thought that Lita turned down Barnsley, Sheffield Wednesday, Bolton and Blackburn to link up with Oscar Garcia Junyent’s Brighton side who find themselves 15th in the Championship after an indifferent start.
Lita endured a frustrating time in Wales after his £1.75million move from Middlesbrough in 2011, making only 16 Premier League appearances, four of which were starts.
The 28-year-old will now be hoping to rediscover his impressive goalscoring form in order to fire the Seagulls back into the English top flight.
