Get real missus. I have waited over 40 years to see my team in the top flight of football once more and I, like many other City fans couldn’t give a toss about the FA Cup or any other trophy come to that. It’s all about promotion and the riches that it brings. Did you have a go at Man Utd. when they didn’t even compete in the FA Cup a few years back because they could earn more money playing in some competition in Asia? No I sure you didn’t.

The article doesn’t mention shirt colour or the rebrand anywhere!! Merely opinions of other supporters.

The division amongst City fans clearly still exisits you are typing proof of that!

Cardiff City started off as Riverside AC!
If you vivisted the club you’d find the division between supporters was dwindling rapidly. If we get promoted this year all wil be forgiven. For the record Cardiff hardly ever played in blue for all away games last year, so please don’t lecture on the importance of the shirt colour.

You’re the one that needs to do some research Cardiff City FC had always played in Blue!! It’s was Riverside AC who played in the browh and yellow kit!! And the article is playing devils advocate and you’ve proved the point it made, yet again there is division amongst the Cardiff City supporters which was easily avoided

nort really…a great day for Macclesfield is nearer to the truth. And changing the colour of their shirt(again!…used to be brown and yellow squares!) doesn’t mean we have forgotten our history. What it HAS meant is financial survival as opposed to oblivion. You really need to get out a bit more and do some proper research.
