There have been question marks over whether Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could keep Cardiff City safe in the Premier League. A 3-1 victory today against relegation rivals Fulham could certainly change those perceptions.

They were in grave danger of being cut adrift at the bottom of the Premier League but their fight and desire could see them safe. Solskjaer was used to saving it till late with Man United and will be hoping to do the same thing with Cardiff.

Solskjaer was brought into to add a lift to the club that Vincent Tan deemed that Mackay was unable to provide. Now is when he will really come into his own.

1. Solskjaer can reap the benefits of Mackay’s signings looking to prove a point, Players like Caulker who scored two today.

#Cardiff may well be perpetrators of patchy form this season, but Steven #Caulker certainly looks a class act & terrific signing. #CCFC
