Doncaster Rovers may be sitting 18th place in the Championship, but during their match against 15th place Leeds United, they managed to string together a sensational team goal.

When the two teams met last Saturday, Doncaster were trying to wind down the clock at the end of the first half by playing a possession game and much to the surprise of everybody, it paid dividends as Billy Sharp rounded off a 28-pass move to double the visitors’ lead before the break.

In a move straight out of the Barcelona play book, Doncaster striker Billy Sharp sent the ball into the back of the net after making 28 passes as they dominated the final minutes of the first half. Shown below are the full 28 passes as well as the goal which showed Tiki-taka football also exist elsewhere.
