1971/2 season. I was a young teenager and went to my 1st Leeds match, it ‘blew my mind’ the noise and feeling of belonging was immense. Its still there, but it is fading. The comment about letting the young ones in cheap is a good one, but the prices need to be dropped and the owners need inform the fans as to their plans. It pains me when I read all the stuff some write on these ‘blogs’ it seems that some actually want to Leeds to fail if only to prove some kind of point, or as I have read, maybe they are not Leeds fans at all! Anyway, I still attend every match at home, always will MOT

totaly agree we will never go up under this muppet warnock, he has,nt a clue we are going backwards and he will blame anyone bar himself, just f/off and take your over the hill shit with you there are plenty good managers out there why should the greatest fans in the world put up with the shit that comes out his mouth. what kind off manager praises his young players then sends them out on loan your a muppet warnock just go now and let a man who knows what he,s doing rebuid from our academy it may take a while but it will be worth it in the end.

Lets face it , ken bates hates leeds united . He is taking the piss whilst filling his pockets . If Morison was Neil warnocks no1 target , having stated he wanted another striker , why didn’t he sign him at the start of the window . The bloke ended up here anyway so he would have surely come . Simple – the new bates G F H consortium only want to make money not spend it . The fans have seen the light . Going to elland road and spending money is just prolonging the agony . Unfortunately .

The takeover over left me cold, why do l feel like this?
I have not heard or seen anything that shows GFH are here to make Leeds a top flight club again. The more l read and see (transfer window) the more l believe this is to make GFH money in the short and long term. Leeds have a huge fan base but im guessing most do not see GFH as the real thing we so desperately need.

When a takeover happens it is up to GFH to show they are here to invest and as i have stated before actions are needed not statements of intent. Any actions would have seen an instant reaction from the fans and this has not happened there is no city buzz at all. In fact there is just confusion and press statements stating GFH are unwealthy etc….which are of course denied by GFH.

I think Bates has made a fortune at leeds and thats why hes still here to advise GFH and how they can make cash from there investment. Thats why they were looking at the books for so long.

If this is too negative i am sorry i may have seen too much of ‘dragons den’ but give me a positve or proof GFH are genuine and wealthy owners.

Crowds are tumbling due to one man: WARNOCK, I am sick of hearing that the world is against him (fans, press, refs etc). We have gone backwards under him and totally agree with Peter (2.24). I am hoping rumours of Adkins meeting the owners in a move for him to takeover in the summer are true as we need a complete change. No doubt now I’ve mentioned him he’ll be announced as the Hudders new gaffer later this aft

It will be the more excuses in the sumner.GFH/Ken Bates will get one of the lackeys,Warnock or Jones to tell us non football people what we should do and think.I can hear the excuses now,the summer is a terrible time to sign players ,agents and players on holiday etc etc.If you honestly believe the recent transfer window was a sucess tben good luck to you.Why would GFH pay £52 milluon and then keep Bates around the club,knowing full well he is the reason why supporters are staying away.Simples they don;t own the club and the tajeover is an utter smokescreen.

‘we’re quite clearly happy to pay the wages of better quality players’, you say. But where’s the evidence for that statement? As a proportion of turnover our wage bill is one of the lowest in the championship and Warnock admits we can’t (or won’t) compete on wages. When was the last time Leeds signed a good young player on top wages despite competition from other clubs? We are left with the dregs either because a) they are frees b) they are loans, costing nothing. Morison would not have joined had Becchio not paid for him. THERE IS NO MONEY and you are far too soft on GFH. They are looking to make a quick killing from either flipping the club to another mug buyer or by some miracle gaining promotion and taking the £100m that would bring in TV money as a dividend,leaving the club to come straight back down. They are a private equity house, not remotely interested in Leeds United.

Pains me to agree with your comments. It really is down to the hard core of fans now who will continue to go as I do home (All games) and away (most games). I genuinely believe we will rise again and those who have lost the passion temporarily will return with some level of success….that was proven when we went up from league 1 and the atmosphere was definitely there then. The”Rich Backer” really needs to pump some money in during the summer cos lets be honest, even if we finished in top six playoffs this season (unlikely) we would not have a chance at promotion over 2 legs with the teams above us. Sad but true MOT
