You should all know by now that Leeds’ new owner Massimo Cellino is a bit of a fruit loop.

Well, not literally, but he seems to be one of those guys that just doesn’t care what anyone else thinks of him. Kind of like an eccentric Italian. Paolo Di Canio springs to mind. Perhaps they’re related?

Anyway, the £10million sale of goal machine Ross McCormack to Fulham surprised even the most ardent of McCormack fans. TEN MILLION QUID for a Championship player? It’s one thing actually paying that kind of money, but another to actually have the balls to ask for it in the first place.

But that’s exactly what Cellino did. But not in an attempt to get as much money as possible for him. Read his quotes below to learn what REALLY happened…

As a journalist surely the art of spelling is no mystery to yourself “doesn’t care what anyone else things of him “. spelling issues apart, as a life long Leeds United fan I am getting used to gutter journalist looking for an excuse to find issues whatever the club does. Massimo Cellino has bought the club in a financial mess and turned it around. Shirt kissing money grabbing players who wish leave the club we bid you good bye, no good luck , no come back soon , just leave, exit rear.
We have bought young players who may just have some fight in them and the younger generation maybe given a chance, also players played in positions which suits their talents would be advantage unlike last seasons. So Massimo Cellino has saved money and spent money, already an improvement on the last few years under so called Leeds United fans ( now locked up )
Please in the future give a balanced view on people, yes he’s Italian and he shouts and he wears his heart on his sleeve , but meet most Italians, you may just find Massimo Cellino is quite normal.

There’s incorrect spelling, and then there’s typos. Mental how people struggle to understand the difference. I’ll be sure to DOUBLE sub my work from now on so that I don’t upset anyone.

I don’t doubt that Massimo is a lovely bloke, nor the fact he’s turned Leeds around. But this is what the internet normally calls a ‘viral article.’ It’s a light hearted take on reality. Again, apologies if that’s lost on you.

Good luck for the new season.

Sorry, David. It was an honest typo. It happens to the best of us.
