Newcastle boss Alan Pardew has been accused of harassing French forward Hatem Ben Arfa, as reported by the Telegraph.
The player’s agent Michael Ouazine has slammed Pardew for the way his client has been treated and that he is being unfairly forced out of the club.
And he even went as far to suggest that Pardew could even be sacked within two months.
He told the Daily Telegraph: “Hatem doesn’t have to leave.
“He can go on a free after his contract is over – six months, or a year, this is not a problem.
“Who knows how long Pardew will be at Newcastle. In two months he may not be here.
“Hatem loves this club, he is idolised by fans. Hatem remains professional and is working hard.”
Among the number of things Ben Arfa has allegedly been unfairly treated is the accusation that Newcastle failed to pay his rent for three months, despite still taking the money out of his wages, as well as fining him giving an interview to a national paper, in which he stated that he wanted to remain at the club.
And the final straw comes when he was fined for returning to pre-season 1.5kg overweight, although he claims it is extra muscle weight, rather than fat.
“We don’t know what the problem is,” Quazine admitted.
“Pardew in the past has said Hatem was extraordinary. Hatem has done everything for Newcastle, every effort has been made to discuss the problem.
“He is simply doing his job. He trains well, he enjoys training with the reserves were he has a great coach in Peter Beardsley. We are now in a situation where there doesn’t seem to be a solution.”
