This past Saturday marked the end of a horrendous run of form for Newcastle. The 3-0 win at home to Cardiff ended a run of six straight losses. It’s therefore easy to sympathise with the club’s supporters for wanting a change.
And they may get it this summer. The club are safe in ninth place in the league, but mid-table mediocrity isn’t good enough for a side who recently finished fifth. A lack of investment and ambition has been a problem. The club have gone through periods of embarrassment this season, first with Joe Kinnear and then with Alan Pardew’s actions on the touchline.
If there is to be an overhaul from top to bottom, there are a large number of players who may be transfer listed this summer.
So with that in mind, here are the six players who are unlikely to be playing in the black and white of Newcastle next season.
