Manchester United, after notching his first goal for the Canaries.

The Sierra Leone international, who is on loan at Carrow Road form MLS outfit Sporting Kansas City, found the back of the net for the first time in a yellow shirt over the weekend against Everton.

His equalising goal sparked a stunning comeback from the East Anglians, who secured a 2-1 win with a last gasp effort from Grant Holt.

Kamara revealed that is far from afraid of facing the league leaders and is relishing the chance of impressing against a team he has achieved some success when facing in the past:

“We played against United when I was with Kansas and they were on a pre-season tour in 2010. We were the only team in the States to beat them and I scored and got an assist in a 2-1 friendly win.” He is quoted by Sky Sports.

“Almost everyone was in the United team, including Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs, and Dimitar Berbatov scored their goal. All their top guys were playing. So I suppose I might be a marked man against them next week now!

“I’m used to being man marked in America and it just means I have to work much harder.”

Kamara went on to reveal that he was thrilled to get off of the mark for his new club, and was even happier that his effort proved to be meaningful:

“It’s a great moment in my life and it means such a lot to me. I’m living the dream. It’s not just scoring in a 4-1 defeat or something like that, it’s an important goal and it’s one that I am going to carry with me for ever.”
