Premier League may hinge on the results of their next five matches.

The Super Hoops are currently seven points from safety and stuck at the foot of the table following their weekend defeat to Manchester United.

However, in their next five encounters the Loftus Road side face four of the teams embroiled in the relegation dogfight in the shape of Southampton, Sunderland, Aston Villa and Wigan.

These fixtures hand Rangers a good chance of improving their form after a tricky run of games.

Granero believes QPR, who have only won twice in the league this season, must secure near maximum points during these encounters to boost their chances of survival:

“After these games we will know if we have a chance to stay up or not,” he told Standard Sport.

“We still have confidence but these five games are very important. We are playing against the teams who are fighting with us. We need the points.”

Granero arrived at the club in a shock deal from Real Madrid last summer.

Despite there being rumoured interest from the likes of Liverpool, the Spaniard insists that he does not regret his choice of club:

“Of course it’s difficult but I cannot complain. I came here to challenge myself and help the team. This is what I’m doing. We can do it and be a good team.”
