The Mirror.

Super Hoops boss Harry Redknapp is keen to brink in defensive reinforcements in a bid to move the London club clear of relegation from the Premier League.

Experienced New Zealand international Ryan Nelsen is set to leave the club soon to take up a managerial post at MLS side Toronto and reports are emerging that Anton Ferdinand may move to Turkey to join Bursaspor.

If the duo leave, ‘Arry will be short on central defensive options, which will be far from ideal considering they have conceded 37 goals already this term.

Representatives from Porto have reportedly met with QPR to discuss a deal, but the player himself is unsure where his future lies.

Rolando is believed to be attracting attention from a number of Italian sides, and may elect to for a switch to Serie A over a prospective relegation dogfight at Loftus Road.

If a deal cannot be agreed, Redknapp may switch his attention to Blackburn’s Scott Dann.

He is also said to be interested in fellow Ewood Park man Martin Olsson, who has been strongly linked with West Ham in recent weeks.

Out-of-favour Chelsea winger Florent Malouda is also said to be high on the ex-Tottenham manager’s wish list.
